Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – SEN Primary Schools
Location: Havant
Pay: £13.75 – £14.20 per hour (from 1st April)
Hours: Flexible days | Term-time only | School hours
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join SEN primary schools across Havant. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children with additional learning needs while enjoying flexible, term-time working hours.

As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them build confidence and develop key foundational skills in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) during lessons and school activities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs

  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management

  • Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence in learning

  • Support pupils’ emotional, social, and developmental needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people (primary or SEN experience is a bonus, not essential)

  • A patient, nurturing, and positive attitude

  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Right to work in the UK
