Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and specialist primary school in the Basingstoke area. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 9:00am – 3:30pm

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver engaging learning experiences.

Build positive relationships that help children feel safe, confident, and valued.

Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning needs.

Encourage independence, communication, and social development.

Help create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or

Be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel before starting employment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
