Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant – North Sheffield
Location: North Sheffield (S5, S6, S35 and surrounding areas)
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term (potential for permanent placement)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and experienced Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant to support a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across North Sheffield. This role is perfect for someone passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (based on your strengths)
-
Deliver small-group interventions in areas such as phonics, reading, writing, and maths
-
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs where required
-
Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and lesson preparation
-
Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
-
Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
What We’re Looking For

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
-
Experience working in primary schools
-
Strong understanding of child development and learning support
-
Confident in supporting phonics, early literacy, and numeracy
-
A proactive, positive, and nurturing approach
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
