Year 5 Teaching Assistant Required for General Classroom Support within an ‘Outstanding’ Catholic School.

  • Experience supporting pupils in KS2 is essential for this role.
  • Opportunity to secure a longer term/perm position within a Nelson Catholic School.
  • The role requires candidates to provide general classroom support 5 afternoons a week.

An reputable Catholic Primary School in Nelson has approached Teaching Personnel seeking to recruit an experienced KS2 teaching assistant to support within a Year 5 class. Experience supporting in KS2 and a CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning is essential for this role.

The role will require candidates to support mixed ability pupils within a larger than average Year 5 class, 5 afternoons a week. This is a temporary role set to commence upon the reopening of schools that could potentially progress onto a school contract should the candidate prove particularly strong.

The school is located on the outskirts of Nelson and is easily accessible via car and public transport. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
