  • Competitive pay between £14.25 and £15.00 per hour depending on experience

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school in the FY8 area. They are looking to recruit a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from November 2026 on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will support pupils across Key Stage 2, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

The school is seeking an individual who is confident working with children across Years 3 to 6 and can provide classroom support, small group interventions, and targeted 1:1 support where required. You will work closely with the class teacher to help pupils make progress academically, socially, and emotionally. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development.

  • Have relevant experience working in a primary school setting
  • Be confident supporting pupils across KS2
  • Have effective communication skills and work well as part of a team
  • Be committed to supporting children's academic and personal development
