We are working with a welcoming school in the local area that is looking to appoint a Year 6 Teacher to join their supportive and committed team from October 2026, subject to a successful application and interview.

The Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and purposeful lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support pupils in preparation for the transition to secondary school.
- Plan and assess learning effectively, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and the wider school team.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6.
- Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to pupil progress.
- Have excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
- Be passionate about creating positive outcomes for children.
