KS2 Primary Teacher Required – Stockton (Maternity Cover)

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for your next role? We are currently seeking a KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Stockton, covering a maternity leave from September.

Location: Stockton
Position: KS2 Primary Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Pay: £150–£170 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons within Key Stage 2
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Plan, prepare, and assess pupils’ work in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Support pupils’ academic progress, development, and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with staff to maintain high teaching standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A reliable, professional, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
