Job description

Y6 Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently working with schools across South Sheffield - with KS2 assessments creeping up, we are looking for an experienced Y6 Teacher. We are looking for someone who is based in the South Sheffield area, with access to their own car and available on a full time basis. Schools have now identified pupils who require additional support to raise attainment ahead of KS2 SATs and will be looking for staff who can deliver tailored booster sessions to small groups or the whole class. This role would be temporary until the summer term, but there could be an offer of a permanent contract for the right candidate. 

The Role;

  • Y6 boosters - small groups or whole class 
  • Experienced delivering Maths and English to upper KS2 pupils 
  • Available on a full time basis 
  • Access to own mode of transport 
  • Able to engage and inspire pupils who may be struggling with the curriculum 
  • High expectations for all pupils 
  • Able to instil a passion for learning 
  • Can follow school behaviour policy consistently
