Year 4 Class Teacher (M1–M6)
NG6 Area
Start Date: 13th April
Fixed-Term Contract (Until 24th July)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the NG6 area. This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting on 13th April and running until 24th July, suitable for teachers on the Main Pay Scale (M1–M6).
The Role
You will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire and support pupils of all abilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong classroom management and a passion for creating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress

Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
-
Uphold school policies and contribute to the wider school community
Requirements
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 desirable)

Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum

Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
