A vibrant primary school in Leyland is seeking an experienced KS2 Class Teacher for a summer term assignment within Lower Key Stage 2. This role requires a teacher who is confident, adaptable and able to deliver high‑quality teaching from day one.
The school prides itself on its positive ethos, strong pastoral focus and commitment to helping every child achieve their best. You will join a supportive staff team and contribute to the continued success of the KS2 phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching engaging and well‑structured lessons
- Using assessment effectively to inform teaching and track progress
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning
- Building strong relationships with pupils and parents
- Working collaboratively with the KS2 team
About You:
- Demonstrable experience teaching in KS2
- Skilled in delivering Lower KS2 curriculum content
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- This position is not suitable for ECT candidates
