A vibrant primary school in Blackburn is seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team for a full‑year contract beginning in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with older primary pupils and is committed to delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons.
You will take responsibility for a KS2 class, supporting pupils’ academic progress, encouraging independence, and contributing to a positive school environment. The school is well‑regarded for its collaborative staff team and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging KS2 lessons

Tracking and assessing pupil progress

Creating a structured, inclusive and motivating classroom

Working closely with colleagues to support curriculum delivery

Building strong relationships with pupils and families
What We’re Looking For:

QTS and experience or training in KS2

Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

A confident, reflective and supportive teaching style

Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
