KS2 Supply Teacher – Barnstaple
Teaching Personnel is recruiting KS2 Supply Teachers to work in schools across Barnstaple and the surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy working with Key Stage 2 pupils. You will take responsibility for delivering high-quality teaching, supporting learning, and ensuring children can access the curriculum and make progress.
Role details
Role: KS2 Supply Teacher
Salary: £25,350 – £31,280 per year (pro-rata for part-time)
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Full time or part time, term time only
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
No planning or preparation required – you will follow existing lesson plans
The role includes
• Delivering lessons and activities across KS2 following existing plans and schemes of work
• Supporting whole-class teaching as well as 1:1 or small-group activities when needed
• Encouraging independence, social skills, and active participation in all learning activities
• Collaborating closely with class teachers, teaching assistants, and other school staff to ensure continuity and consistency of learning
We are looking for candidates who
• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) (essential)
• Are confident teaching in KS2 settings
• Are passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
