KS2 SATs Intervention Teacher – Full-Time or Mornings Only
Location: Bacup & Todmorden (Cluster of Schools)
Start Date: May | End Date: End of Academic Year

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 SATs Intervention Teacher to support a cluster of primary schools across Bacup and Todmorden during the crucial summer term.

This role will involve working across a number of schools within the cluster, delivering targeted support where it is needed most. The position is available on either a full-time basis or mornings only, offering flexibility for the right candidate. Please note that you may be required to work across 2–3 different school sites.

The Role:

  • Deliver targeted SATs interventions to Key Stage 2 pupils, focusing on raising attainment in core subjects (English and Maths)
  • Work with small groups and individuals to close learning gaps ahead of assessments
  • Adapt to different school settings and work effectively across multiple sites
  • Monitor pupil progress and tailor intervention strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with class teachers and senior leaders across the schools to ensure consistency and impact

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Have experience teaching or supporting within Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs expectations
  • Be flexible, organised, and confident working across multiple settings
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car (essential)
  • Be committed to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
