KS2 Lead | Full Time | North Bristol | September Start

We are working with a welcoming primary school in North Bristol that is looking for an experienced and motivated KS2 Lead to join their team from September. This is a full time role combining leadership responsibilities with a teaching commitment.

 

What You Will Be Doing

• Leading and managing the KS2 team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
• Teaching your own class within KS2
• Supporting and mentoring KS2 staff with planning, assessment and professional development
• Monitoring progress and attainment across the key stage
• Working closely with senior leadership to drive school improvement
• Ensuring a consistent and engaging curriculum across KS2
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Contributing to the wider life of the school

 

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching in KS2
• Previous leadership or coordination experience, or readiness to step into a leadership role
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A collaborative approach with the ability to inspire and support colleagues
• A commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
