We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and well‑established mainstream primary school in Blackburn. This temp‑to‑perm opportunity begins in September 2026 and offers the chance to become a long‑term member of a supportive teaching team committed to high standards and positive outcomes for pupils.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum, ensuring that all pupils are supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with colleagues, contribute to planning and assessment, and play an active role in the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess high‑quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Use effective behaviour management strategies to support learning

Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies

Contribute to the school’s ongoing development and improvement
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within KS2

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

A proactive, reflective, and professional approach to teaching
