Job Description:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ADHD Support Assistant to work in a school located in WF12. As an ADHD Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with ADHD to help them thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with students with ADHD to provide individualised support in the classroom.
- Assist in implementing strategies and interventions to help students with ADHD succeed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Provide emotional and behavioural support to students as needed.
- Monitor and track the progress of students and report back to relevant stakeholders.
- Offer guidance and encouragement to help students develop self-confidence and self-regulation skills.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with students with ADHD and a desire to make a positive impact.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Knowledge of ADHD and its impact on learning and behaviour.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
