Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated primary teacher looking to begin or continue your teaching journey in a supportive and welcoming school? Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream primary school in Oldham (OL1) that are seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.
About the Role:
- Full-time KS1 class teacher position
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds (or is working towards) QTS and a PGCE
- Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Is committed to supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
ECTs & Final-Year Students Welcome:
We warmly welcome applications from ECTs and current QTS/PGCE students due to qualify this year. For those finishing their training, we can offer flexible day-to-day ad hoc teaching opportunities in the interim period before your September start, helping you gain valuable classroom experience and confidence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
