Part-Time Year 1/2 Teacher (Job Share) | October 2026 Start
Location: Salisbury Area
Start Date: October 2026
Working Pattern: 2-3 days per week (Job Share) – Flexible on working days
Pay: £125-£145 per day (supply) or M1-M6 Pay Scale (depending on responsibilities)
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a flexible teaching opportunity? Teaching Personnel is working alongside a welcoming and supportive primary school seeking a Year 1/2 Teacher to join their team from October 2026 as part of a job share.
The Role:
- Teach a mixed Year 1/2 class for 2-3 days per week.
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire young learners.
- Planning is not initially required, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality teaching (although this may be subject to change).
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 1 and/or Year 2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A positive, adaptable and nurturing approach to teaching.
- A passion for helping every child achieve their potential.

Vetting Requirements:
As part of our safer recruitment process, all applicants will be required to:
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS Certificate, ideally registered with the Update Service.
- Provide the right to work in the UK.
- Supply proof of qualifications, including QTS.
- Provide two professional references covering your recent employment history.
- Complete Teaching Personnel's registration, safeguarding checks and compliance process before starting work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
