KS1 Class Teacher – Full Time – September Start – Near Tidworth

Teaching Personnel are eagerly seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to begin a full-time role in September at a welcoming primary school near Tidworth.

The school serves a unique and supportive community, with approximately 60% of pupils coming from military families. They are looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who can build positive relationships, maintain high expectations, and create an engaging learning environment for all pupils.

Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers, with the role paid in line with the Main Pay Scale (M1–M6).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress and wellbeing.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil attainment and development.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil outcomes.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote the welfare of all children.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards completion of an ECT programme.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be passionate about inspiring and supporting young learners.
  • Show resilience, flexibility, and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
