KS1 Teacher Vacancy - Leyland

An excellent mainstream primary school in Leyland is seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their dedicated team for the full academic year. This role provides the opportunity to work within a supportive environment focused on delivering high-quality education to all pupils.

You will be responsible for a KS1 classroom with a significant number of SEND pupils. Experience delivering differentiated lessons and supporting children with additional learning requirements is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver creative KS1 lessons
• Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
• Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
• Work closely with teaching assistants and SEND staff
• Encourage positive behaviour and pupil achievement

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• Understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to providing excellent education
