A welcoming primary school in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from September on a full‑year contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high‑quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for young learners.

You will take responsibility for a KS1 class, delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils’ academic and personal development, and contributing to the wider school community. The school is known for its supportive leadership team and strong focus on pupil wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging KS1 lessons

  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly

  • Creating a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

  • Building strong relationships with pupils and families

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum

  • A nurturing, enthusiastic and reflective teaching style

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
