We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive school in Bishop Auckland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and helping children thrive both academically and personally during these important early years of education.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons within Key Stage 1
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative staff team
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience or strong knowledge of KS1 teaching
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
- Is committed to raising standards and pupil achievement
- Has a positive, flexible and proactive attitude
- Brings creativity, warmth and enthusiasm to the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
