KS1 Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent Role (September Start)
A welcoming primary school near Andover is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from September.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience teaching within KS1 and demonstrate a passion for creating engaging and inclusive learning environments that enable all children to thrive.
The school serves a unique and diverse community, with approximately 60% of pupils coming from military service families. Staff work closely with children and families to provide a supportive and nurturing educational experience. Average class sizes are around 25 pupils, allowing teachers to build strong relationships and deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
This is a permanent, full-time position, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive school community. The role will be offered through Teaching Personnel, and all necessary safeguarding and vetting checks will be completed as part of their recruitment process. Teaching Personnel roles typically require enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks in line with statutory guidance.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have recent experience teaching in KS1.
- Be committed to raising standards and pupil achievement.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
- Work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
