Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant – KS1 | Full-Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in BL5. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

This role is primarily based within Key Stage 1, supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom to help them reach their full potential.

The Role

  • Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1.
  • Delivering high-quality phonics interventions and small group sessions.
  • Providing targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Working closely with the class teacher to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promoting high standards of behaviour and learning throughout the school day.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Has essential experience delivering phonics interventions.
  • Has previous experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Demonstrates high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
  • Uses initiative confidently and can work independently when required.
  • Is positive, proactive and committed to making a difference in children's education.
