KS1 SEN 1:1 TEACHING ASSISTANT – LONG-TERM ROLE

Location: Bacup
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
Contract: Full-time, long-term

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bacup, supporting a pupil in KS1 on a 1:1 basis.

⭐ The successful candidate must:

✔️ Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
✔️ Have previous experience working within a primary school
✔️ Have experience supporting children with SEN
✔️ Be confident providing 1:1 support
✔️ Be comfortable supporting children with challenging needs and behaviours
✔️ Have a calm, patient and nurturing approach
✔️ Be able to build a strong, positive relationship with the pupil
✔️ Work effectively alongside the class teacher and wider school team
✔️ Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting the child's development
