KS1 Teacher – Full-Time Role – September Start

Monday to Friday (Full-Time, Term Time Only)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Washington for a full-time position starting in September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator looking to make a meaningful impact in Key Stage 1, supporting young learners at a crucial stage in their development.
The Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Support pupils in developing key literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Be creative, patient, and passionate about early years education
- Have experience supporting pupils with SEND (desirable)
- Be reliable and committed to a full-time role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
