KS1 Teacher Vacancy – Leyland
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a committed and motivated KS1 Class Teacher to join a thriving mainstream primary school in Leyland from October half term until the end of the academic year as maternity cover.
This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about developing young learners and delivering an engaging curriculum that promotes progress, confidence, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging Key Stage 1 lessons.
- Deliver high-quality teaching that supports excellent pupil outcomes.
- Monitor and assess pupil achievement and attainment.
- Differentiate learning for pupils with varying abilities and needs.
- Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the wider school community and events.
- Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within KS1 or primary education.
- Strong understanding of curriculum planning and assessment.
- Effective behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
