Your day may include:

  • Working 1:1 with children who need extra encouragement
  • Leading small group interventions in reading, maths or phonics

No two days are the same — but each one makes a difference.

You do not need to already be working in schools — what matters most is your attitude and your dedication to helping children succeed.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • A warm, patient and supportive approach
  • Confidence building relationships with children
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, can‑do mindset
  • A genuine passion for working with primary‑aged pupils
  • Enhanced Childworkforce DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

If you have the heart for the job — we can help with the training.

Why Work with Teaching Personnel?

  • Competitive weekly pay
  • A variety of local placements across St Austell & surrounding areas
  • Long‑term roles AND flexible day‑to‑day options
  • Access to our CPD training (phonics, behaviour, safeguarding + more)
