About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and helping pupils to thrive both academically and emotionally.
Your day may include:
- Supporting whole‑class learning activities
- Working 1:1 with children who need extra encouragement
- Leading small group interventions in reading, maths or phonics
- Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
- Creating a positive, nurturing learning environment
- Helping to build confident, independent learners
No two days are the same — but each one makes a difference.

You do not need to already be working in schools — what matters most is your attitude and your dedication to helping children succeed.
You will be a great fit if you have:
- A warm, patient and supportive approach
- Confidence building relationships with children
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, can‑do mindset
- A genuine passion for working with primary‑aged pupils
- Enhanced Childworkforce DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
