Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Salisbury area.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT who is passionate about primary education and committed to creating a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pupils' academic, social and personal development, delivering high-quality lessons and helping every child reach their potential.

The Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging and purposeful lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel confident and motivated to learn.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and providing appropriate feedback.
• Supporting pupils in developing independence, confidence and a love of learning.
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations.
• Working closely with colleagues to contribute to effective curriculum planning and delivery.
• Communicating effectively with parents, carers and other professionals where appropriate.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND, within the classroom.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school and taking part in enrichment activities where required.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching within a primary school, particularly across KS2.
• Have strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Be confident planning and delivering differentiated lessons.
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Build positive and professional relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Be enthusiastic, adaptable and reliable.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Be an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential.
