Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teachers to work in a variety of primary schools across Reading and the surrounding areas.

The Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that help pupils develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. You'll work in supportive school environments where your skills and expertise can have a real impact on children's progress and achievement.
Opportunities are available across Year 1 and Year 2 classes, with both short-term and long-term assignments throughout the academic year.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress

- Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Delivering high-quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum

We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A positive, adaptable, and professional approach
- Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
