Contract: Supply / Flexible
Hours: Part-time or full-time
Salary: Competitive, paid to scale (dependent on experience)

We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate KS1 teachers to join our network of primary schools in the Dorset area. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for flexible supply work across a variety of schools while making a meaningful impact on children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.

About the Role:
As a KS1 supply teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to pupils across Key Stage 1. You will cover classes, support staff absences, and work with individual pupils or small groups when required. You will adapt to each school’s environment and curriculum, ensuring children receive consistent, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating lessons that meet the needs of KS1 pupils

  • Support children’s academic progress, social skills, and emotional wellbeing

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on pupil progress

  • Collaborate effectively with school staff, including teaching assistants and senior leadership

  • Follow school policies and procedures, ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing standards are upheld

Person Specification:

  • Qualified KS1 teacher with experience in primary education

  • Committed, passionate, and enthusiastic about teaching young learners

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work across different schools and classrooms

  • Strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills

  • Professional, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
