IT Teacher (Cover) – Truro (Cornwall) Area

Daily Rate: £120–£160 per day (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting for a confident and engaging IT/Computing Teacher to provide flexible cover at a well-regarded independent school in the Truro area.
This role offers the chance to teach across a range of Key Stages (KS1–KS3 equivalent), with a focus on delivering high-quality, engaging ICT lessons to small, motivated classes.
What the role will consist of:
- Delivering pre-planned IT/Computing lessons across mixed primary and lower secondary year groups
- Providing engaging, curriculum-aligned content in a supportive, well-resourced environment
- Working flexibly as part of a wider team of subject specialists
- Cover requirements vary weekly – perfect for those seeking part-time or ad hoc work
What we want from you:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in ICT/Computing
- Confident with classroom and behaviour management
- Experience teaching across multiple Key Stages desirable
- Must hold an enhanced DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
