Part Time Interventions Teacher Required, ‘GOOD’ Fylde Coast Primary School, Blackpool (FY1)

  • KS2 Interventions Teacher Required on a part time basis
  • Recent teaching experience across KS2 is essential for this role

A client primary school in Lancashire are recruiting for an Intervention Teacher to join their KS2 team on a part time basis starting in September 2026. The school are looking to meet with prospective Teachers, week commencing Monday 15th June with a view to the successful Teacher starting at the school in September 2026.  The role is to work 3 days a week (Mon, Tues, Weds) and the Teacher will be expected to plan, mark and assess learning alongside partner Teachers to help raise attainment across KS2.

This 2-form entry primary school are looking for a dedicated interventions teacher who will guide the children through their learning continually whilst tailoring learning to encourage development for individual children. It is important that the applicants are dedicated to delivering effective interventions and planning stimulating activities to encourage learning for all children. The successful applicant will be expected to deliver core subject interventions, tailored for children of varying abilities across KS2. 

The Head Teacher at this school is dedicated to ‘raising attainment’ across all subject areas and the school prides itself on ‘making learning accessible’ to all learners. This part time position will start in September 2026 and will run for the full academic year.

To be considered for this role, you must have recent and relevant experience teaching in KS2.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
