Teaching Personnel has partnered with a multi-school Trust seeking passionate Geography, History, and Religious Education Teachers to fill a range of vacancies across North-East Manchester. With both long-term and short-term roles available from September 2026, this opportunity is ideal for enthusiastic, engaging, and committed educators. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality Humanities education. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the ongoing development of the Humanities curriculum. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge in at least one Humanities discipline and a genuine passion for inspiring young people to understand the world, past and present.
Responsibilities
- Deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured Humanities lessons that promote curiosity and critical thinking
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
- Prepare students effectively for exams and coursework, ensuring they achieve their best possible outcomes

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Degree in a relevant Humanities subject (Geography, History, RE, or related field)
- References covering the last 24 months
- Availability for interviews and trial days
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for Humanities education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
