Humanities Teacher (RE Preferred) – Exeter
Full-Time| Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Exeter area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher, with a preference for Religious Education (RE).
This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a supportive department and inspire students across Humanities subjects while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and cultural understanding.
The role:
- Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on RE
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage discussion, independent thinking, and student engagement
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level
- Have a strong knowledge of RE and wider Humanities subjects
- Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management
- Be passionate about education and committed to student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
