Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs)

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? We are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support a range of primary and secondary schools across Surrey.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in supportive, forward-thinking schools where your skills and experience will make a real difference to pupils’ progress and wellbeing.
The Role:

Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
-
Provide targeted intervention support (1:1 and small groups)

Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND
-
Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment
-
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
We’re Looking For:

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
-
Proven classroom experience in UK schools
-
Strong behaviour management skills
-
A proactive, flexible, and professional approach
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
