History Teacher required for immediate start in nationally recognised school in Milton Keynes

Teaching Personnel are happy to advertise for a mixed, specialist academy in Milton Keynes who are looking to hire an experienced Humanities teacher.

The role will predominantly be to teach History from Key Stage 3 upwards but may also involve covering Geography and Religious studies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning, resourcing, and delivering imaginative, interactive and inspiring lessons that ensure that effective learning takes place and students make excellent progress
  • Providing a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that helps students to develop as learners
  • Establishing and maintaining positive behaviour
  • Being accountable for student progress and attainment levels
