History Teacher

Are you an exciting and passionate History Teacher ready to make an immediate impact? A fantastic secondary school in Oldham is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join their vibrant team on a full-time basis. You will be teaching History across KS3 and KS4, supporting a forward-thinking department that is eager for someone who can hit the ground running and inspire a love for the past in every student.

All levels of experience are welcome to apply, whether you are an ECT looking to kickstart your career or an experienced History Teacher looking for a new challenge.
We are looking for:
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Passion for developing critical thinking and debate
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider department

You would be paid according to your teaching scale point (M1 – UPS3) £168.80 – £261.78.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
