History Teacher – Secondary School in Liverpool

Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Contract: Full-time or part-time | Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £160–£260 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Liverpool to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their humanities department from September 2025.

The Role:

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for KS5.

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the national curriculum.

  • Support students in developing historical understanding, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and humanities team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching History in a UK secondary school setting.

  • Strong classroom management and a passion for the subject.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
