History Teacher

Cullompton Area | Through Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in the Cullompton Area to recruit a History Teacher to join their Humanities department.

This opportunity is suitable for both Early Careers Teacher (ECTs) and experienced History teachers, with the potential for long-term or permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Plan and assess work in line with the national curriculum

  • Encourage critical thinking, debate, and analytical skills

  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

  • Contribute to the wider Humanities department where required

  • Located within easy reach of Cullompton and surrounding areas

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified History Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or ECT

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for History

  • Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities

  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Professional, reliable, and committed approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
