A thriving and inclusive secondary school in Brent is seeking a dedicated History specialist to join their Humanities department and make a lasting impact on students across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5.

The Role
As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities. You will create a stimulating classroom environment where students are encouraged to question, debate and develop independent perspectives. The role includes teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A Level for experienced candidates.
You will assess, monitor and track student progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and ensure all learners achieve their full potential. You will contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department and support whole-school initiatives aimed at raising attainment and engagement.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in History and a genuine passion for education. You will have the ability to engage students through creative and dynamic teaching approaches, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high expectations are essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
