About the Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to work in secondary schools across The Fylde Coast. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs/NQTs to gain valuable classroom experience, develop their teaching practice, and make a real impact on students’ learning.

You will deliver engaging and thought provoking History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering curiosity about the past and helping learners develop critical thinking skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high quality History lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire students to explore historical events and their significance.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support the school’s ethos and contribute to student progress and achievement.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in History.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for inspiring young people to learn and succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
