Pay Rate: £100 - £110 per day (DOE)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established Catholic primary school in the Liverpool L6 area to recruit a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a long-term position.
This is an exciting opportunity to become a valued member of a supportive Key Stage 2 team, working predominantly within a Year 3 classroom. The successful candidate will provide classroom support, deliver interventions, and confidently lead whole-class learning during periods of teacher absence throughout the week.

The Role
As a HLTA, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 3 classroom.
- Delivering planned lessons and leading whole-class teaching when required.
- Working closely with the class teacher to ensure continuity of learning.
- Leading small group and targeted intervention sessions.
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs to reach their potential.
- Contributing positively to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who:
- Holds a HLTA qualification or has substantial experience working at HLTA level.
- Has previous experience within a primary school setting.
- Is confident delivering lessons and managing a classroom independently.
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills.
- Has excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive.
- Is committed to providing an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
