We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly and supportive primary school team from September 2026.
This is a full-time position for the academic year, primarily supporting pupils across Years 3 to 5. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, supporting class teachers and leading whole-class lessons when required.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold HLTA status or have equivalent experience.
- Have experience working within a primary school setting.
- Be confident leading whole-class teaching and learning.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
- Demonstrate flexibility, initiative and a positive attitude.
- Work effectively as part of a dedicated team.

Interview Process
Interviews will be held over the coming weeks and will consist of:
- Delivering a lesson that has been planned by a class teacher.
- Candidates who are successful at this stage will be invited to remain for a formal interview with the panel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
