Are you a passionate Religious Education Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Bradford? ✨ Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed RE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Bradford area.

The successful candidate will be confident teaching RE across KS3 and KS4, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons. You will play an important role in supporting pupils to develop their knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of different religions, beliefs and ethical issues. ️

The Role:

  • Teach engaging and well-planned RE lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Support pupils to make strong academic progress and achieve their potential
  • Develop pupils' understanding of religious, philosophical and ethical topics
  • ✏️ Plan and adapt lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
  • Build positive and professional relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Use assessment and feedback effectively to support pupil progress
  • Encourage discussion, debate and independent thinking within the classroom
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

The Ideal Candidate:

  • UK QTS is essential
  • ✅ Previous experience teaching RE within a UK secondary school
  • ✅ Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 RE curriculum
  • ✅ Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • ✅ Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons independently
  • ✅ A committed, reliable and enthusiastic approach
  • ✅ Passionate about supporting young people and raising achievement
  • ✅ Able to work effectively as part of a wider school team
  • Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
