Head of Modern Foreign Languages

Secondary School | Full-Time | September Start

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and fully qualified Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to lead an MFL department from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to shape and develop language learning across the school.

 

The Role

As Head of Modern Foreign Languages, you will:

  • Lead and develop a vibrant and ambitious MFL curriculum
  • Inspire pupils to engage confidently with languages and global cultures
  • Support and mentor colleagues within the department
  • Play an active role in driving whole-school improvement
  • Teach across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where applicable)

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Is passionate about Modern Foreign Languages and curriculum leadership
  • Has strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Is committed to inclusive education and high standards
  • Is eager to contribute to the wider life of the school

 

Contract Details

  • Start date: September
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
