Job description

This is a great opportunity for a graduate who is looking to gain further experience within a secondary school prior to embarking on a teacher training programme.

  • Full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant.
  • Required from September 2020.
  • Supporting pupils of mixed abilities aged 11-16.
  • Earn up to GBP1200 per month (paid weekly).
  • Secondary school based in Salford.

Our client secondary school are looking for a graduate of any specialism to join their support department.

The incoming graduate will mainly be working within mainstream lessons but will also have the opportunity to work alongside pupils in the SEN department. The successful candidate will be expected to facilitate learning across varying levels of ability for students who require additional support within specific subjects.

Applicants wishing to be considered for this opportunity will have transferrable experience working with children and young people previously. The successful candidate must be educated to degree level and be considering a career in teaching in the future.

Our client school is located in Salford and is accessible via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Leigh. For non-drivers, the academy can be accessed via several public transportation links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
