Future teachers needed to work in schools across Greater Manchester. Teaching Personnel created the future teachers programme to address the national shortage of teachers throughout the UK.

If you are a recent graduate considering a career in teaching and looking to gain experience in a secondary school before applying for a teacher training programme we welcome your application. The Future teacher programme in Manchester is currently ran in partnership with secondary schools that have their own school direct teacher training programme where graduates are provided with a placement between 1 term to a full academic tear before going on to the schools teacher training programme the following year.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be given the opportunity to work within your specialist subject area supporting fully qualified teachers in the classroom assisting specific students, in addition to this you will also work with students on a small group and 1:1 basis.

If you are a graduate interested in the future teachers programme there will be opportunities in the new academic year in September.  

Highlights of the future teachers programme;

  • Working within a placement school providing support to students

  • Weekly pay paid through our PAYE up to GBP1200-GBP1300 per month
  • Access to teaching personnel’s CPD and training academy

To be eligible for the future teachers programme you will need to have a university degree, work or educational based references and to apply for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
