What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in supporting students to thrive, both academically and emotionally.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, and communication needs)
  • Helping students build confidence, manage emotions, and develop independence
  • Using creative and adaptive approaches to make learning accessible
  • Working alongside SENCOs, therapists, and specialist staff

From your very first day, you’ll be making a real impact while developing confidence, resilience, and professional skills.

Ideal backgrounds include:

  • Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies
  • Sociology, Criminology, Social Sciences
  • Sport, Health & Social Care, Youth Work
  • Or any graduate with a genuine passion for supporting young people

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • Positive, patient, and empathetic
  • Confident and willing to support diverse needs
  • Proactive and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Available Monday–Friday (8:30am–3:30pm)
  • Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
