A Stockport-based secondary school is looking to appoint a Geography teacher to join their successful department in September 2020. With excellent results year on year, the school’s innovative approach to delivering high quality teaching and learning through a tailored curriculum is complemented by the vast array of extra-curricular activities and opportunities. The school offers a range of different options including sports, music, performing arts, outdoors, DofE, games, debating and academic clubs to ensure that all pupils can enjoy a well rounded school experience.

The successful candidate will be someone with exceptional subject knowledge and who can demonstrate a track record of pupil success. You will be responsible for delivering a full timetable to all year groups and abilities, meaning strong differentiation and organisation skills are also crucial. This is a position that is open to all qualified teachers whether NQT or more experienced, provided you hold QTS in the UK.

Located a short distance from the M60 and M56, the school is easily accessible from anywhere in and around the Stockport area, as well as from South or Central Manchester, Tameside, Trafford, Macclesfield, Poynton, Knutsford or Glossop.
